Community Group FAQ:
How do I login? If you belong to a paid membership, use your membership login. If not, register and we'll turn your login on for you. You will have access to the public groups, paid members (quilt blocks etc. will also have access to the private groups that belong to their membership.)
Profiles: Where you add your avatar, details etc.
Can I upload photos? Yes, please do! Each member can make their own album in any group. You cannot load photos to someone else's album, so label your albums to keep things tidy! You may continue to add photos to any one of your albums as you finish a project. Your albums may be edited by you only. You may comment on any photo album.
Can I upload videos? You may embed relevant (homestead, cooking, sewing, family, etc.) community videos from places such as You Tube. We do not allow uploading of videos onto our server. Please embed your own work; if you want to embed another's persons video, just email us first for approval first. Be sure to send the link. Thanks in advance.
Your Status: Is on your profile page, if you update your status (just type in the box), our homepage is updated also, we'd appreciate that!
Do I have a Wall?: Yes. Go to applications, add the wall application. You can now post on anyone's wall in their profile, if they have also added the application.
Friends: Add any member as a friend!
Chat room: Use the live chat box. Sign in and join the chat. The chat box is limited to 50 users. At the bottom there is a box with an arrow; clicking this will give you a floating popup window of the chat room so you can browse the site and have the window handy.
Discussions: You may create discussions in any group.
Groups: You may add a group to our community! These are moderated and will need to be approved. You may not make private groups.
